TR1X - Tomb Raider 1

TR1X - Tomb Raider 1 is an open source reimplementation of the original Tomb Raider that will allow you to enjoy this PC classic, with some improvements specially designed for modern computers, all without radically altering the original experience (as new remastered versions can sometimes do). For this reason, this is a very interesting alternative for fans of the first game in this legendary franchise.

Very easy to install

Installing TR1X - Tomb Raider 1 is very simple. Just double-click on the executable and, in the first window you see, choose which version of the game you have installed. TR1X - Tomb Raider 1 is compatible with the Steam, GOG, CD-ROM and TombATI versions. Important: To play TRX you will need the original game installed, as it needs some of these files during the installation process.

TR1X - Tomb Raider 1's main goal is to offer the closest possible experience to the original Tomb Raider, all the while making the game perfectly compatible with modern computers and screen resolutions. For that reason, the gameplay is virtually identical to the original. There are no notable additions, and nothing missing either. The game features the same levels, enemies and storyline as the original Tomb Raider.

Graphics and resolution improvements

The main difference between TR1X - Tomb Raider 1 and the original game is the graphics options. You can adjust the resolution of the game so that it adapts to your monitor from the Options menu. You can also enable or disable VSync and adjust the size of the game interface so that it scales correctly with the set resolution.
